About the drink

Kir Royale is a French cocktail, a variation on Kir. It consists of Crème de Cassis topped with Champagne, rather than the white wine used in traditional Kir. This is an apéritif and is drunk before a meal to get your appetite going.

  • Chilled Champagne Flute
  • 10ml Crème de Cassis
  • Roughly 115ml house Champagne
  • 1 blackberry

  1. Add 10ml Crème de Cassis into a glass
  2. Rest flat side of bar spoon on top of Crème de Cassis and slowly pour Champagne into the middle of the spoon and bring the spoon up as it fills the glass. Stop about 3 quarters way up
  3. Drop the blackberry slowly into the glass and serve
